La artesanía es un gesto siempre presente de la experiencia humana, en la que se manifiestan rasgos distintivos de las formas de vida colectiva. En ella están escritos los saberes de los pueblos y su devenir cultural, expresando a su vez, los procesos de cambio de las sociedades y la adaptación propia de la dinámica cultural. La artesanía es, por tanto, una respuesta admirable a las demandas cotidianas, pero no están sólo referidas a los aspectos funcionales, sino también a la expresividad simbólica.

"The Battle of Midway," directed by John Ford, provides a relativelybrief account of the Japanese attack of American ships at Midway atoll.The film is comprised mostly of authentic footage from the battle, withdramatic narration by Henry Fonda. "Behind every cloud, there may be anenemy," he intones as American fighter pilots search the sky. The restof the film mocks Emporer Tojo of Japan and portrays him as ruthless,bombing hospitals and churches as he tries to conquer the Pacific.
