Tra i diretti eredi del grande re del reggae ad occuparsi di musica, Julian Marley e' stato uno degli ultimi a venire alla ribalta: e' nato a Londra nel 1975 e pare abbia registrato il suo primo demo ai Tuff Gong Studios a 5 anni (prima quindi della scomparsa di suo padre) riprendendo 'Slave driver' dal repertorio paterno.
