In the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador lives an indigenous tribe that was still uncontacted a few decades ago. Anyone who tried to reach them was pierced by their spears. Now however, the Waorani are gradually opening up to the world, curious to learn about new cultures and traditions. I joined them in their village to immerse myself in their daily life, hunt with them and participate in propitiatory rites, to understand what happiness is for an indigenous people as ancient as theirs.
Welcome to the world of the Waorani.
